AMÉLIA

Amélia emerges as the reconstruction of memories of an imaginary past. Moments of the daily life of a long lost period are recreated through objects which have accompanied several generations.
All seventeenth century painting is a constant reference, both in the pose and in the attitude.
For this reason they are familiar situations from the feminine pictorial universe, which suggest an infinity of interpretations to us.
This may be a re-encounter with the beauty of simple gestures or an escape from a reality made up of excesses and without the time for contemplation.
